Adrienne Steinberg takes a "listen first" approach with her clients. Her first task with any new project is to determine what the client's goals are and what they hope to accomplish. Because she believes the most successful projects are those that have been carefully focused at the outset, Adrienne always works closely with the client to make sure that the goals and needs are well defined and understood up front. That way, she is assured that she is helping her client resolve the problems it wants and needs to solve.

Adrienne works with a range of clients, from large, Fortune 500 companies to small, start-up businesses. She regularly provides clients with assistance in strategic and business planning at the corporate level, and works closely with clients to craft and implement business development tactics aimed at aggressively expanding business prospects and increasing revenues. Adrienne has developed a specialty in advising online, technology companies in business development and strategic partnership activities.

Prior to starting her consulting career, Adrienne spent nearly a decade formulating strategies and negotiating on behalf of and with Fortune 500 technology and finance companies as an in-house business development professional. She provided a full range of services, including strategic planning, negotiation, conducting market research and analysis, and managing proposal processes. For several years, she worked primarily on cutting-edge Internet deals pushing the envelop to expand the Web "beyond the PC".  Adrienne prefers to focus upon "what's new?" rather than "what's the precendent?".  Working with clients who are willing to be the first to try something new remains very appealing to her.

In her last corporate role, Adrienne served in a strategic partnership and business development capacity at the VP-level at AOL .  At AOL, Adrienne was responsible for driving AOL's strategic partnerships with major technology and consumer electronics companies such as Intel, HP, Adobe, Apple, Sony, Samsung and Microsoft.  In this role, she facilitated and grew executive-level relationships between AOL and some of its more important partners.  In her years at AOL, she negotiated agreements with an aggregated deal value of over $350MM with dozens of security, photo, educational and technology companies.  Previous to her time at AOL, Adrienne served as an investment banking M&A analyst for PaineWebber, and a business development associate for Credit Suisse’s online financial services division.

Adrienne holds an M.B.A. in the management of business, technology and innovation from University of California's Haas School of Business. In addition, she holds a B.S. in Finance from the McIntyre School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
